Velocity Radar is built on a local-first architecture:
- No Personal Identifiable Information (PII) Stored: We do not collect, store, or sell your personal login credentials, private messages, browsing history, or IP addresses.
- Local Storage: All creator cohorts, follower snapshots, and audit metrics are stored locally in your browser via
chrome.storage.localor local browser storage. - Public Data Only: The metrics tracked (public follower counts, publicly visible handles, and public post URLs) are strictly public directory data.
3. Permissions Declared (Chrome Extension)
Our Chrome extension requests the following scoped permissions:
storage: To persist your private seed cohorts and rolling 7-day snapshots on your local machine.alarms¬ifications: To trigger local desktop notifications when an account you track crosses your growth threshold.activeTab&scripting: To parse public profile metrics when you browse or click the harvest trigger.
4. Cookies & Third-Party Services
Velocity Radar does not run third-party advertising trackers, pixel beacons, or data broker integrations.
5. CCPA & GDPR Compliance
In accordance with GDPR and CCPA regulations, you have full control over your data. Because all data is stored client-side on your device, you can delete all tracking history and cohort records at any time directly through the Settings → Reset All Data button in the extension.
